Mike’s leadership, drive, music programming expertise and original thinking, has transformed radio stations into Sony and Arqiva award winners.
During his 25-year career, Mike has won commercial broadcast licences, built and sustained audiences across many brands and platforms, and has a proven track-record of increasing the Time Spent Listening to stations, beating targets and attracting significant business investment.
Key to Michael’s success is his innate ability to coach and inspire teams of talented professionals, no matter what their background or level of experience. Michael has an excellent and demonstrable record in leading change management initiatives, initiatives that invariably lead to the revitalisation of businesses and brands. Initiatives that subsequently lead to significantly improved ratings and revenue. Mike also has extensive experience in building businesses from scratch and turning them into market-leading brands.

Mike has been the writer and executive producer of ‘The Kim Wilde 80s Show’ for Francis Currie Consulting and Blue Revolution. He literally put words into Kim Wilde’s mouth.

Mike writes, produces and is the executive producer and music programmer of the 'Ronnie Scott’s Radio Show'.
The programme, hosted by Ian Shaw and can be heard on Jazz FM in the UK every Friday evening from 9pm (GMT), on Jazz & The Arts, Jazz FM 91 in Toronto at 9pm (EST) every Friday, Jazz 88 in St. Paul Minniesota every Tuesday at 8pm (EST), Jazz 90.1 Rochester, New York at 9pm (EST) every Wednesday and Saturday and on British Airways Transatlantic flights.
The show takes you backstage at the world famous Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London, bringing interviews, special moments and exclusive live recordings.
Founded in 1959 the club presents the biggest names in jazz, all of who favour its intimate surroundings. Ronnie Scott's is also the best and usually the first place to catch hotly-tipped rising stars, visionary artists and the next big thing too.
Guests on the show to date, include George Benson, Dianne Reeves, Georgie Fame, Frank Sinatra Jnr, Snarky Puppy, Esperanza Spalding and Harry Shearer to name but a few.
Mike has also written a further four networked radio programmes: The ‘All Time 100 No 1 Hits’ presented by Claire Sturgess, the ‘Stars of ...’ presented by Paul Hayes, Emma B’s ‘Classic Cuts' and David Jensen's ‘The Kid's Chirstmas Countdown’. These shows were all produced for and broadcast on more than 40 radio stations across the UK and Europe and are set to return.
